Not being with Kiana for a birthday, a milestone birthday at that, has left us both very emotional. She's been fighting the blues and I've been fighting the heartache. 

TODAY, on Kiana's birthday, with short notice, my friend not only created a gorgeous birthday balloon bouquet but she also did me the favor of delivering them to Kiki at school, in the rain, in spite of many challenges with both security and the office.
